Free Methodism and the Poor

Last Thursday I gave a presentation to the Family Camp of the Wabash Conference that I am part of. I'm posting this because a number of people asked to have access to it. It is free for anyone to use.

  1. Great stuff...and great food for thought...and great thought for action.

  2. Again, sorry to be commenting late - I just found your blog from a fb post, and I'm really enjoying it! Is this conversation happening at a broader denominational level? Jeff and I don't attend an FM church anymore because the closest one is an hour away, but I am still in many ways committed to my FM roots (that go back several generations). I usually have quite a bit of pride when I tell people about the "free" in Free Methodist when such conversations arise. Your presentation was super informative. I had always wondered what happened to the church's orientation and commitment to social issues.

  3. Whoops, nevermind. I just saw the post about last year's General Conference. :)
