sin, because they have been born of God." 1 John 3:9The word often translated "seed" in the NT comes from the Greek word "sperma." The literal meaning is obvious. It just dawned on me today that the biblical writers were playing with this notion of God's sperm existing within us. In this sense, we must all be Marys. God has placed within us his sperm and we simply have to allow it to germinate or, more precisely, gestate.
